Highway Stripe Removal System

The Jet Edge Highway Stripe Removal System (HSRS) cleans roadways in a fraction of the time it would take alternative methods.

Without damaging the highway surface or underlying substrates, the HSRS removes previously applied markings and leaves the highway clean and ready for new markings. Since the HSRS uses only water, there is no clean up, no disposal, and no harm done to the environment.

The HSRS is powered by the Jet Edge 36-250DX intensifier pump, which creates a 36,000 psi (2,500 bar) water stream that is directed through a cleaning head. The cleaning head, mounted to the front of a truck, can be positioned to the right or left of the truck and cleans up to a 20 inch (50 cm) diameter path. Cleaning head controls allow the operator to precisely control the speed of the truck, rotation speed of the cleaning head, and the waterjet on/off. These features make highway stripe removal faster and more efficient than ever before.
